From nationally-known country music stars to excellent tribute bands to rock and roll cover bands to local bands, to children's entertainment, The Harvest Festival offers an affordable fun-filled weekend.
Craft, Business and Community Vendors
Dozens of crafters, retailers and community organizations fill the festival with beautiful and fun items for home and family. Vendors are welcome with advance registration and payment.
THE FESTIVAL PARADE RETURNS to Celebrate the 41st Festival! Sunday, Oct. 13 at Noon along Morton Ave.. The parade will honor farmers and more.
We invite local families, schools, youth groups, farmers, farm-related businesses and organizations, high school and other bands, fire and rescue units, marching groups and other businesses to enter the parade.
SKELLY'S FAMILY-FRIENDLY AMUSEMENT RIDES & GAMES
Skelly's has been providing rides and games for the Festival for 3 decades. They are known for rides designed for fun and thrills coupled with safety and cleanliness. Their ride operators are trained and courteous.
FUN FOR KIDS AND ALL THE YOUNG AT HEART
The fun for children includes clowns, jugglers, stiltwalkers, balloon fun, cartoon and super hero characters roaming the festival site all weekend inclidomg the Phillie Phanatic on Sun. , 1-2 PM.
It also includes scheduled shows featuring BMX Bikes, break dancers and educational and exciting animal shows.
The Amusement Rides and Games midway including special money-saving specials will thrill kids and adults all four days.
FARM AND WINERY TOURS
Take these free tours at 3, 4 and 5 PM on Sat. and Sunday. Departs from Morton Ave. in front of Fire Hall. Pick up free tickets in advance of tour hours at the Festival Main Information Booth to assure space on the tour. Tour includes brief history of farming in the Township and stops at Cedar Rose Vineyards and Southwind Vineyard & Winery. The tours are sponsored by Cumberland County Board of Freeholders and the vineyards.
EXCITING, COLORFUL FIREWORKS SHOW ENDS THE 41st CELEBRATION ON SUNDAY NIGHT AT 9:30
The festival fireworks show has gained recognition as one of the region's best. This year's show will be accompanied by music, video and photos from the Festival over its 40 years.
FOOD COURT FEATURES A BIG VARIETY OF FOODS AND BEVERAGES AT AFFORDABLE PRICES.
The Festival Committee sells water, soda, coffee, hot chocolate, hot dogs and meatball and roast beef sandwiches including Dollar Dog specials and combo specials. Around twenty other food vendors offer a menu of foods to enjoy all weekend.
