For the first time, DC Comics and Six Flags are collaborating on a fully immersive, theatrical takeover of the park that drops guests right into the heart of a cosmic showdown between heroes and villains.
Called the “DC Heroes & Villains Festival,” this is a full-day experience that will transform the park into Gotham City, complete with Broadway-level production, original film-style scoring, and a five-hour storyline told across 15 scripted performance moments.
The events include parades, villain dance parties, street theater, live concerts, interactive games, and a massive stunt-driven finale.
You’ll become a citizen of Gotham from the moment you enter, choosing sides, navigating character-driven encounters, and engaging with a real-time narrative featuring The Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Catwoman, and more.
The whole story is underscored by an original score timed to sync with fight scenes, dramatic reveals, and crowd moments.
The purpose is to feel like you’re in a superhero film brought to life.
The production is being led by WOW! Entertainment, and the cast includes talent from Disney, Broadway and major stunt shows. The entire experience is designed by a creative team that includes TONY-winning designer Ken Billington.
The festival takes place at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California, from June 19 to July 26 – and then comes to Six Flags Great Adventure! New Jersey dates are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from August 8-31, plus Labor Day (Monday, September 1). Showtimes vary between 5 and 10 pm.
