Description
Daffodil Day is a decades-old tradition in Summit, when visitors to the arboretum have an opportunity to enjoy one of the largest daffodil collections in New Jersey – over 50,000 bulbs in bloom in the arboretum's glacially carved Daffodil Bowl!
The day’s activities also include spring themed games and crafts, a story trail, music, food, market vendors, our current art exhibit, and of course, the Green Goats will be here.
Staggered entry times will be at 11 am, 12 pm and 1 pm. Sign up for the time slot you prefer, as changing will be based on availability. Do not arrive before the time you are registered for. Member registration begins at 9 am March 7; non-member registration begins at 9 am March 21. Admission is free for RRA members and children under 3; everyone else pays $10.
This is event is rain or shine.
The arboretum parking lot is closed during this event, but on-street parking is available. Adhere to all parking signs and give yourself ample time for parking and walking to the arboretum. Bicycle racks are available if you come by bike.
You can also donate to the Daffodil Bowl. Each $25 gift ensures the purchase and planting of 10 daffodil bulbs to add to the display.
