Cricut Basics Workshop

This comprehensive workshop equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to transform this powerful cutting tool into your creative partner.

Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, you will be guided through every step of the process, from setting up your Cricut machine to choosing materials and designing your projects.

Participants will need to bring their own Cricut Machine (Joy, Explorer or Maker), and ensure it is in working order, a laptop, weeding tools, a green cutting mat, a blank mug, and a blank t-shirt to participate.

You’ll learn how to:

* Set up a project in Design Space
* Learn how to use Shapes and Text
* How to cut using your machine and cutting mat
* How to weed using Cricut tools
* How to apply vinyl to your mug
* How to apply HTV to tee shirt and use a heat press (provided by the teacher to use for class)
