Learn how to take items like old clothes, sheets, curtains, and scrap fabrics and turn them into one-of-a-kind quilts with fun patterns.

During the class we will also discuss the significance of quilting in African American History - the origins of quilting in African culture, and how it was brought to America.

$25 per participant. DIY Kit provided. Register in advance to reserve your materials for shipping or local curbside pick up. Please provide your shipping address when registering.

DIY Kit includes a variety of thread and needles.

Participants will need to provide their own fabrics. We encourage participants to use old clothes, curtains, sheets, or any fabrics.

Class takes place Saturday Feb 27th 2:00 PM EST. If you are booking in a different time zone please plan accordingly. You will receive a Zoom link prior to class.
