Join the Bergen County Historical Society for its 41st Annual Colonial Christmas Concerts and Tavern Fare on December 14 and 15 at Historic New Bridge Landing.
Performances take place in the historically decorated 272-year-old Steuben House at 5 pm and 6:45 pm Saturday, and at 3 pm and 4:45 pm Sunday, where Linda Russell and Companie will whisk you back to Yuletides of yesteryear with the carols of your childhood and stories of Christmas past.
You can stroll through the candlelit site to the Blackhorse Inn, open from 4-8 pm on Saturday and 3:30 pm-7 pm on Sunday, for a light supper or dessert of period favorites such as shepherd’s pie, soup with salad and a biscuit, Ploughman’s plate, English trifle, selection of Dutch sweets, cake donuts, and cider.
Take a moment to visit Sinterklaas in the Demarest House.
Concert admission: $35 for non-members, $28 for BCHS members. Tavern fare is at an additional cost.
