Join the Children’s Museum of Manhattan (CMOM) for a joyful three-day celebration of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan with special programs designed to foster creativity, learning and community.
Families can participate in hands-on art-making, storytelling, dance performances and more, all highlighting the traditions of this important holiday.
Highlights include creating Eid charity boxes filled with gifts and kind words; making decorative paper fanous lanterns; listening to music and storytelling by The Culture Tree on Monday; watching a Kathak Dance Performance and Workshop with Sandhya Rajkumar; a Crescent Moon Read-Aloud with author Zainab Khan; collaborative moon artmaking; and storytime featuring Ilyas & Duck & The Fantastic Festival of Eid al-Fitr.
All activities are free with museum admission.
