Bunny Trail Spring Festival at Terhune Orchards

This weekend is a non-competitive event for children ages 2-10, but is open to all ages. Follow hand-drawn clues around the farm in a self-guided treasure hunt. At the end of the hunt, children can choose to do bunny-themed craft activities and meet Terhune’s real bunny rabbits (additional charge for activities and barn area).

Stroll along the farm trail for an up-close view of nature.

Take a hop in the Hippity Hop Corral and race the ducks in the Duckie Race. Have fun with children’s games, special playhouses and children’s play area in the barn yard. Take a pony ride and a spin on a pedal tractor.

NJ Bubble Parties will put on a fun interactive show (two each day).

Listen to the sounds of live music. On Saturday, On the Fly will be playing and on Sunday, it’s Three to Get Ready with Bill Flemer.

Visit the Farm Food Pavilion for a snacks or lunch. It will be filled with farm fresh homemade goodies like apple cider donuts, pies, cookies, fresh pressed apple cider, soup, chili, hot dogs and much more. Barn Door Café will be scooping ice cream and serving apple cider slush.

The Terhune Orchards Vineyard & Winery will be open in the Wine Orchard with open air and seating. Tasting flights are available. Toast spring’s arrival with a glass of Terhune’s Blossom White, a semi-sweet white wine with fragrant notes of honeysuckle, or one of our other award-winning white, red and fruit-based wines.

The farm store will have produce, apples, herbs, flowering plants and baked goods; all you need for Easter holiday and Spring. Place your order ahead of time online for curbside pick-up at the Terhune Favorites Stand by the flagpole.

The festival takes place April 19 and 20 from 10 am to 4 pm.

All entry to the farm, including to the winery, must be purchased. Admission tickets are discounted in advance with online packages (children under 3 are free).

Included in admission: bubble shows, children’s activities and games, music, barnyard, nature trail, pedal tractor area; additional fee applies for crafts, pony ride, rubber ducks, food.

Convenient free parking is available at the farm on Cold Soil Road.
