Description
Boonton Parks & Recreation's second annual Santa Run 2022 is a fun and festive way to kick off the holiday season.
Runners and walkers of all levels and ages are invited to participate; strollers are welcome. The festive course will have themed stations along the route. Start at Santa Land and follow the course down Main Street, making sure to soak in all the holiday fun. Hang a left at the Town Hall and head down Lathrop Avenue turning left onto Kanouse Street. Make your way to the North Pole Finish Line Celebration.
Santa suits are not required but are highly encouraged. Other festive attire such as your favorite ugly Christmas sweater, elf costume or reindeer ears are acceptable. The more sparkle and jingle, the better.
Each participant will receive a medal plus a complimentary hot chocolate bar at the North Pole Finish Line.
Boonton PBA Local 212 will sponsor the North Pole Finish Line Adult Celebration (must be over 21 and have valid ID). The celebration entry is included with race registration. The Santa Run “cup only option” is available for purchase and entry to the North Pole Finish Line Celebration for those not wanting to participate in the run.
Race time is 9 am.
Register in advance by Nov. 18; there will be no same-day registration. Cost is $30 for adults 13+ or $20 for kids 12 and under. The "Cup Only" option for those who want to join the Finish Line Celebration without joining the run is $10.
This course will not be certified.
No pets will be permitted.
This event is held rain or shine. In the case of severe weather Boonton Recreation holds the right to cancel or reschedule the run.
