Beacon Animal Rescue – a nonprofit, volunteer-based, animal rescue serving Cape May, Atlantic and Cumberland counties – will host its second-annual golf fundraiser from 12 to 3:30 pm on Saturday, October 11, at Big Little Nine in Cape May Court House.
This is the second year that Big Little Nine, owned and operated by Morey’s Piers and Beachfront Water Parks, will host Beacon for a family-friendly day of nine holes sprawling over 89 serene acres of meadows, willow oak trees, ponds, and waterfalls.
This year Casey’s Cause Food Truck will be on-site, offering golfers BBQ and rotisserie-style items, plus a variety of Coca-Cola products. The founders of Casey’s Cause will donate a percentage of the day’s sales to Beacon.
The golf fundraiser event is open to experienced and novice golfers of all ages. The cost per golfer is $35 per golfer, with a portion of proceeds going directly to support Beacon’s lifesaving mission.
Golfers can purchase tickets and register at Chronogolf.com/club/19164/events/1084251. Businesses looking to sponsor a tee or hole can email ryanparkerk9@gmail.com.
