It’s time for the annual BBQ & NJ Craft Beer Festival at Monmouth Park. The festival runs Saturday to Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm each day.

There will be lots of BBQ food to choose from, plus more than 40 NJ craft beers at the beer garden. General admission and sampling tickets are available in advance or day of. Purchase both tickets in advance to save 15%.

NJ Craft Beer sampling will go from 11:30 am to 5 pm. Sale and check-in for tickets will be from 11:30 am to 4 pm. Day-of tickets are cash only.

Enjoy live music from 12-4 pm all three days. After the Reign rocks out on Saturday, followed by West End Dogs on Sunday and Chris Morrisy on Monday.

Free Family Fun Day activities take place from 12-4 pm on Saturday and Sunday featuring pony rides, clowns, face painters and a bounce house.

Participating food trucks so far are Lexylicious, Local Smoke BBQ, Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, Nip N Truck, NYC Mac Truck, El Lechon de Negron, Empanada Beast, Empanada Guy, Enzo’s, Five Sisters Food Co., Four Boys Concessions, Highway 2 Ohana, House of Cupcakes, Joe Smoke Bar-B-Que, Kiersten’s Creations, and Kutz Q BBQ.

The gates to the racetrack open at 9 am each day, and the first horse race kicks off at 12:40 pm. Admission is $6; kids 12 and younger are free. Parking is free.

No pets allowed.

Coolers and BYO is only permitted in the picnic area.
