Barnegat Light State Park Birding Van Trip

Barnegat Light State Park is a great winter birding spot, with lots of sea ducks, gulls, and winter shorebirds.

You will hike to the end of the jetty from 7th Avenue.

Dress warmly.

A rigorous sandy hike on the beach is to be expected.

Along the way, you will make a few other stops to pick up a few other species in the bay and ocean.

If time permits, you will check out one of the surrounding salt marshes before heading back.

Cost is $41 per person. Open to adults.
