07:00 PM - 09:00 PM

Join the Arts Council of Princeton for a free film screening of Called to Walls on Tuesday, April 16 at 7pm in the Art Council of Princeton’s Solley Theater.

Directed by Nicholas Ward and Amber Hansen, Called to Walls is a thoughtful and uplifting film that not only leaves viewers reassessing their notions of art, but also with an itch to go out and do it themselves! Out of view of the high art world and the hip gallery scene comes this heartening story of unlikely partners in Middle America working together to reexamine their histories, celebrate what makes their towns unique, and imagine their futures in the form of monumental community murals led by Lawrence artist Dave Loewenstein.

The evening will include a presentation by muralist Meg Saligman. For the past 25 years, Saligman has produced over 40 permanent public artworks worldwide, including some of the world’s largest public murals.

This screening of Called to Walls was made possible by Joshua Zinder Architecture + Design, Kirsten Thoft Architect, and Mike Hathaway of Revival Construction.

This event is FREE! Please help us plan by registering via Eventbrite.
