4th of July Weekend at Kadampa Buddhist World Peace Temple

Visit the Kadampa Buddhist World Peace Temple on Saturday, July 5, for the free Summer Fun Fair, from 11 am to 5 pm. Enjoy this community extravaganza featuring temple tours, meditation, food and juice bar, artists, vendors, a yard sale, music, and a kids’ carnival area.

On Sunday, July 6:

• Temple grounds and nature trails are open from 8 am to 7 pm, for free
• Kids & Families Meditation Class, 11 am to 12:15 pm
• Guided Meditation Class “The Medicine of Hope” with Buddhist Monk, 11 am to 12:15 pm, $10 drop in
• Free Guided Meditation Class with Prayers for World Peace, 2-3 pm.
• Free temple tours, 1:30-3:30 pm
• Buddhist Bookstore & Gift Shop, and World Peace Cafe Coffee shop, are open from 10 am to 4 pm

Relax in the tranquil surroundings of 82 acres, including: nature trails, a pond, a garden, streams and soft springy moss.

Outdoor seating areas, picnic tables and hidden nature benches are available.

Pets on a leash are welcome on the grounds.
