25th Annual Clam Festival - August 1st to August 4th at Huddy Park on Bay & Waterwitch Avenues. The famous Clam Festival is a four-day spectacular event featuring a 120’ seafood court serving the freshest food from many of Highlands’ famous restaurants. Admission and parking is free, and the event takes place rain or shine.
Clam Fest will feature a Beer and Wine Garden, specialty vendor’s marketplace and the succulent food court. On Thursday, August 1st, the action takes place from 6-10PM.

Friday, August 2ndhours are 6-11PM, with a spectacular fireworks display at 9PM by Serpico Pyrotechnics (rain date Saturday, August 3rd) On Saturday, August 3rd, the festival is 12-11PM, Motor City Revue will take the stage at 6PM.

Sunday, August 4th, hours are 12-8PM. The Clamfest’s world-class CLAM-SHUCKING COMPETITION kicks off at 2:00 PM sponsored by Lusty Lobster and has a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizewinner to the person who finishes shucking their Clams first.

The ALL YOU CAN EAT CLAM CONTEST, will begin promptly at 2:30 pm and be limited to 15 contestants. This is also a 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize contest to the person who can eat the most clams from their bucket in five (5) minutes. Registration for ALL Contests begins at Noon.

Rave On! will take the stage from 4:30-7:30PM. The Highlands Business Partnership’s “King of the Clam” super 50/50 drawing will be drawn on Sunday, August 4th at 7:00pm.
