250 RevolutionNJ Flag Raising Ceremony in Cranford

Note: The original date of January 25 was postponed to February 1 because of Winter Storm Fern, but the February 1 event has been canceled due to an impending storm. A new date will be announced once the event is rescheduled. 

Cranford’s 250 RevolutionNJ Committee is inviting the community to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary of the American Revolution.

This inaugural event kicks off many more activities planned this year celebrating the founding of the United States of America.

The flag raising ceremony will feature a color guard, members of the VFW, local scouts, as well as fanfare from live re-enactors, a bagpiper and the Cranford High School Choir.

The ceremony will take place indoors in the municipal council chambers, followed by the official flag raising out front of the municipal building.
