The 2020 Tenth Annual Edison Green Fair will be co-presented by the Township of Edison, Edison Sustainable Jersey Green Team (ESJGT), Edison Clean Communities Program (ECCP) and Edison Township Environmental Commission (ETEC) on Sunday, May 31, 2020, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The annual, family-friendly, green/sustainable event will be staged indoors at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center at 97 Sunfield Avenue, Edison, NJ 08837 in Raritan Center. It shall occur concurrently with the annual Edison Family Day at the same location, for which a small donation of $5.00 per person is requested of visitors to the events.

A number of green/sustainable Presenters, Exhibitors, Vendors and Speakers are also planned. Event activities shall include: Volunteer Plantings, Site Cleaning, Organic Debris Consolidation and many other Green/Sustainable Actions; On-Site Environmental Testing; Eco-Tour and Ecological/Historical Discussion of Raritan; Rock Wall; MCDEH Rain Barrel Demonstration, Home Composter Demonstration and Used Cooking Oil Collection; as well as other green/sustainable activities. Free multi-cultural food will be available on-site, as well as many free giveaways.

No registration fees are required for 2020 Edison Green Fair Event Staff, Volunteers, Presenters, Exhibitors or Vendors. 2020 Edison Green Fair Sponsorships are available at a graduating scale of support. Elected Officials, Dignitaries and Green Advocates have been invited to attend.

Since 2011, annual Edison Green Fairs have drawn an approximate total of 18,000 visitors and participants, to date. As in the past, this year (5/31/20) up to 3,000 visitors and participants are anticipated, including numerous volunteers, presenters and vendors.

Edison Clean Communities Program will provide free giveaways to event Sponsors, Vendors, and the first 150 Event Visitors. Additionally, on-site Volunteers shall participate in assisting event Vendors and Presenters with Set-Ups and Break-Downs, as well as Clearing and Cleaning the Site before and after the 2020 Edison Green Fair.

Participants and visitors at 2020 Edison Green Fair are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable foods for the Hands of Hope for the Community Food Pantry. Representatives shall be site to accept the donations.

Ample parking shall be available for event participants and visitors.
