WHAT: EatingWell magazine and the International Food Information Council Foundation will host the 2019 EatingWell Future of Food Summit, featuring panel discussions between thought leaders-academics, nutrition experts, trend forecasters, farmers, food industry professionals-to help explain how our food system needs to evolve and transform in the years ahead. This summit will take place in tandem with the release of EatingWell's October 2019 issue, whose theme is the future of food.

Meanwhile many Americans struggle to eat a balanced diet that doesn’t contribute to our still-climbing rates of diabetes and heart disease. To tie in with the release of EatingWell’s October 2019 issue, “The Future of Food,” this event will focus on explaining how our food system needs to evolve and transform in the years ahead and how consumers can adopt emerging food technologies to understand the larger environmental impact of this trend.
