Description
Take a quick drive up to Rhinebeck, New York, to enjoy the festivities of the 176th Dutchess County Fair.
Hours for the festival Aug. 23 – 28 are 10 am - 10 pm Tuesday to Saturday, and 10 am - 8 pm Sunday.
For those members of the family who are interested in agriculture and horticulture, enjoy Livestock Hill with farm animals, the Dairy Birthing Center, AgVenture Kids Activity Tent, horse show rings, Memorial Garden, Horticulture Building, Century Museum Village, working blacksmith shop, gas-powered engine show, Bentley One-Room Schoolhouse, Pleasant Valley Historic Train Station, Gun Club Wildlife Exhibit, and arts and crafts displays.
If you came for the entertainment, the children will love "Fluffy" the T-Rex, Commerford's Petting Zoo, Dock Dogs, Two by Two Animal Haven, Rosaire's Racing Pigs, Vocal Trash, The Long Shots, Pawstars Canine Frisbee Dogs, Andy Rotz Wild West Showdown, Oscar the Roving Robot, and a sheriff K-9 demo.
The Grandstand Lineup includes Darci Lynne, 7:30 pm Aug. 23; Tusk (Fleetwood Mac tribute), 7:30 pm Aug. 24; Niko Moon, 7:30 pm Aug. 25; Chris Janson, 7:30 pm Aug. 26; and All American Rodeo, 12 pm and 6 pm Aug. 27 and 4 pm Aug. 28. Additional fees may apply.

And stop by the vendor booths for great local products as well.
Advance tickets are on sale now. Buy tickets online or at the gate. Online purchases are encouraged, as there will be limited person-t0-person window sales due to staffing shortages.
Online presale ends midnight on Aug. 22: adult admission is $13.50 plus $1.50 convenience fee online. All-day wristbands for rides are an additional $25 plus $1.50 convenience fee.
Admission at the gate is $18. Wednesday is senior (65+) and military discount day, $12 walkup only. Ride All Day wristbands are an additional $30. Or, purchase ride tickets separately at any Midway ticket booth.
Children 11 and younger are free. Parking is free.
