We asked our Facebook fans where they go to get their favorite baked goodies and chocolates for Easter. And, wow, New Jerseyans love their sweets—we got a great response! 

Favorite Bakeries in New Jersey

Tara F. loves "Gian Carlos's in Succasunna/Ledgewood on Rt 10 for their Italian Rice Pie and Pignoli Cookies. Easter tradition."

Helen G. suggests "Lee Sims in Jersey City on Bergen Avenue is—hands down—the best chocolate shop ever and it's been there for decades and decades! I'm 40 years old and my Easter Baskets were always filled with goodies from Lee Sims! Now, my 72-year-old father who still lives in J.C. gets chocolate bunnies for MY children from Lee Sims!"

Vivian H. shares "Natale's in Summit is hands down the best bakery in our area. Everything is amazing. They are known for their Philly Fluff. The chocolate horns are my favorite."

Joe G. recommends "Gourmet Touch in Liberty Corner, their cakes, pies, brownies are always fresh." (Check out their Easter Peeps, Jelly Beans, and Coconut Cake!)

Lucy B. (New Jersey Family managing editor) admits "my current addiction is to the mini butter cookies at Sugar House in Garwood. Also Mueller's Bakery in Bay Head—their crumb cake is a staple for Easter morning!"

Our Twitter friends also recommend Carl Fischer in the Lawerence Shopping Center in Lawrenceville for chocolate, and Cupcake Magician in Red Bank, especially their Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes.
