LEGO lovers heaven, officially dubbed LEGO LIVE NYC, will make its US debut at Pier 36 in Manhattan from February 16-18. The show differs from others because it’s authorized by LEGO itself. It will feature so. Many. LEGOs. Your kiddos can dive into 65,000 square feet of immersive experiences, hands-on building activities, live performances and demonstrations. There will also be interactive themed play zones, competitive building challenges and workshops.

Grab photos with LEGO models based on iconic characters from Star Wars and NINJAGO or check out LEGO Master Builders, where builders will get one-on-one advice and have the opportunity to show off their creations.

There’s plenty to inspire your STEM kid, too. She’ll get to combine LEGOs, coding and robots to program multifunctional models. Here’s what else is planned for the three-day event:

-Meet the Masters on the Main Stage, where your family can pick up building tips and tricks from live demonstrations, competitions and Q&A sessions.

-Meet up at LEGO Architecture with fellow builders to create iconic Manhattan skyscrapers.

-Use specialty LEGO pieces at LEGO Minecraft, where fans can craft their own version of the game’s universe.

-Kids can build and code with the new LEGO Boots and heritage LEGO Mindstorm toolkits at the Coding Corner.

-A LEGO Shop will sell “show only” souvenirs.

Tickets run from $30-75 per person. Go to LEGO LIVE’s website for more details.
