Diggerland is an unconventional NJ spot (and one of our personal faves). Tucked away in West Berlin, this site is a cross between an authentic construction site and an amusement park where little builders can learn to work a dumper truck, race others in a Digger Derby, operate a backhoe, hop a ride on the barrel train and more on real deal construction rides. And next year, they’ll be able to do even more on five brand new rides.
The 7-acre expansion is a multi-million dollar project and the biggest since the park’s opening. Kids will fly to new heights on the 700-foot Soaring Eagle Zip Line, from which they’ll be able to see nearly the entire park from 130 feet high. The four other rides are still under wraps for now.
In addition to the amusement attractions, a corporate events and groups pavilion, complete with climate-controlled dining, will be opening (perfect for birthday parties!). Not to mention a new concession building with bathrooms and an addition to Diggerland XL, a heavy machinery experience just for grown-ups that teaches them how to operate the big rigs just like the kids. Now, adults have a chance to smash a car with an excavator under the supervision of a professional (available now)!
Diggerland reopens to the public March 17, 2018. Get your tickets online (try snagging them for the best deals around during the holiday sale on December 15!). Admission is $28.95 for guests under 42”, $31.95 for guests over 42” and $36.95 for an any day ticket (prices are discounted if you order online instead of at the park).
Diggerland is located at 100 Pinedge Dr., West Berlin. For more information, call 856-768-1110 or visit diggerlandusa.com.
