Liberty Science Center

If you’re not sure what to do this weekend, Liberty Science Center is welcoming families for some spooky fun to celebrate the Halloween season! From now until November 1, guests can check out the Spider Maze, located just outside the main entrance. You’ll not only learn about those creepy eight-legged creatures, you’ll also encounter a giant spider that must be seen to be believed!

Don’t worry, the folks at LSC promise that the maze is NOT scary, but it is tons of fun and informative. Inside, you can trace the Follow Your Fears path to learn about five different phobias. Kids will earn stickers that allow them to pick a pumpkin in LSC’s Pumpkin Patch.

You can also check out Wild About Animals, a live show featuring LSC’s creepiest residents and a Halloween dance party that takes place every day where you can smash pumpkins during the Boom Time show.

On Saturdays and Sundays, catch Boo! A Halloween Laser Show at 4pm in the Jennifer Chalsty Planetarium. Also this weekend is the Beyond Rubik’s Cube exhibition which explains the history of the famously hard to solve puzzle (peeling off and moving the stickers does not count!).

Festive and safe costumes are encouraged, and all props must be inspected and cleared by LSC security before entering. Costume masks permitted for guests age 13 and under. All costume weapons must be made out of foam, plastic or resin. Please note that costume masks are not a substitute for face coverings and all safety protocols must be adhered to at Liberty Science Center.

Purchase tickets in advance here to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the spooky fall fun!
