If you remember seeing your friends post amazing pics of Candytopia when it landed in New York City in 2018, we have big news. The epic candy-themed pop-up that sold out quickly the last time it toured in Manhattan is back in a much bigger way.
Candytopia is known for its one-of-a-kind sensory candy-themed experiences and epic photo ops. The limited-run pop-up opens to the public on April 29 with new and updated exhibits like a cushy marshmallow pit of sugary bliss the kids can dive into, a New York-inspired candy art gallery, a candy confetti room complete with confetti-farting pigs (yes, you read that right!), and fun new experiences including an infinity mirror room, Ring Swing Garden, Sugar High Theater, and even an indoor zip line!
The new space is the largest to date and is located in New York City’s Penn Plaza neighborhood. It also features tasting opportunities of your crew’s favorite candies. “We’re thrilled to be returning to New York City where we were so warmly welcomed in 2018,” said John Goodman, the CEO of Youtopia Entertainment. “We’ve created an updated experience that our guests will find familiar, but with plenty of new surprises and additional rooms to discover.”
The new Candytopia will be located at 111 West 32nd Street, NYC (on the corner of 32nd and 6th). Early access sign-ups are underway and tickets go on sale April 12. Candytopia officially opens on April 29 but it’s unclear how long it will be open. Organizers say it will continue until the candy runs out!
Tickets are expected to sell out fast as they did last time Candytopia was in NYC. The pop-up has drawn sold-out crowds to Santa Monica, San Francisco and Miami and A-list celebs like Usher, Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Bruce Willis, Adam Sandler, Kevin Durant, Christina Aguilera and Hilary Duff.
Tickets are $29 for children ages 4-12, and $36 for adults. Kids 3 and are free. For more information, and to sign up for early access to your own Golden Ticket presale, go to candytopia.com.
