It's a Christmas miracle! Hatchimals, the hottest and most impossible-to-snag toy of the holiday season, will be in stock at Target and Walmart for a limited time.
According to BFAds.net, Walmart will be restocking roughly 1,700 stores throughout the week. Bonus: they'll be on sale for $48.88. As for Target, inventory will grow all week, but Sunday, December 11 is the day to shop. There will be a strict limit of two Hatchimals per customer. If you can't be there this weekend or the goods have flown the coop by the time you hit the toy aisle, rumor has it there will be a Hatchimals giveaway very soon.
If you haven't heard about the Hatchimals craze, the little critters are interactive, bird-like stuffed creatures that arrive in pretty eggs, which your kid can help hatch. The toy sold out everywhere pre-Thanksgiving, and the manufacturer, Spin Master, announced it wouldn't be restocked until January. Parents anticipating disappointed chicks come the holidays took desperate measures, some buying over-priced Hatchimals on eBay. Others printed a letter dated December 25 from Santa himself explaining their child's egg will be delivered as soon as it's laid.
To every parent's surprise, Toys R Us had them back in stock December 4, and now Target and Walmart stores are following suit.
So shake your tail feather and get there early (ideally before the store opens)—you just might be able to count your Hatchimals before they hatch.
