If your kids have boundless energy, let them get some of that out at the largest ball pit on the planet. Bounce the Mall is an inflatable festival that is making its New Jersey debut on Aug. 13 outside of The Mills at Jersey Gardens. The eight bouncy attractions will provide family fun through Aug. 28.
Head to the Disco Dome for a silent disco (wear headphones playing music only you can hear) with live deejays, lights and special effects. This kid-friendly, daytime accessible “nightclub” is inside an igloo-shaped inflatable bounce house for a really “cool” time.
Try your athleticism at Sports Slam, a customized sports arena filled with goals, nets, hoops and balls of every size and type you could imagine. There are special zones for climbing and a “battle zone” where you can compete against your family and friends to see who can stay on their podium
the longest against an enormous wrecking ball. This may feel like more of a workout than playtime, but it’s sure to be fun!
For all the thrill seekers, there is an over 600-foot-long inflatable obstacle course where friendly
competition is strongly encouraged. There is an assortment of hoops to jump through, walls to
climb over, candy cane poles to weave through and a grand finale of a giant six-lane sneaker
shaped slide finish line.
There is a birthday cake themed circular moonwalk with giant presents, candles and ball pits to
get guests in the partying mood.
For the little tikes, there is a little bouncer castle built especially for younger jumpers.
Make sure you stop for photos along the way, too, at many designated selfie stations. It’s a great way to capture all of the bouncy fun!
All of these inflatable fun zones are guarded by a 30-foot-tall unicorn who watches from the massive rainbow entrance arch.
The event will also include a Bounce Cafe featuring food trucks and a relaxing patio for grownups to sit back, relax and catch their breath.
Bounce the Mall will be open from 10 am – 6 pm weekends, Aug. 13-28. Tickets start at $21. Times must be reserved in advance, and since slots are expected to book up quickly, advance reservations are suggested.
