Sonny the Bunny’s Colossal Carrot Adventure

Where: iPlay America, 110 Schanck, Rd., Freehold

Hop along the bunny trail to collect prizes and eggs, then snap pics with Sonny. The grand prize? An iPlay America birthday party or a 1 carat diamond jewelry piece for mom. Pregame the hunt at Breakfast with Sonny the Bunny.

Easter Bunny Fly-In

Where: Solberg Airport, Whitehouse Station
Time: 3 pm
Cost: Free admission
Check out airplanes and walk-through hot air balloons, take an introductory flight lesson, explore aircraft displays  and of course, await the Easter Bunny’s arrival via plane.

Easter Egg Hunt at Allaire Village
Where: The Historic Village at Allaire, 4263 Atlantic Ave., Wall Twp.
Date: April 20
Time: 11 am-4 pm
Cost: $8-18
Kids get divided into age-appropriate groups to hunt for over 15,000 eggs on the beautiful green at Historic Allaire. Hunts go on every 15 minutes and each kid gets six toy-filled eggs. You can also meet the Bunny, take in live music, see live demos in historic buildings, watch live bunnies and chicks play, hang at storytime and ride the carousel. Don’t go home without trying your luck in the egg toss or decorating a bonnet or basket. Make sure you register before to save your spot! Reserve in advance—this event sold out last year.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt (SOLD OUT)

Where: Liberty Hall Museum, 1003 Morris Ave., Union
Time: 4-5:30 pm
Cost: $10 for 1 adult and 1 child. (additional adults $5)
The grounds of the museum are a beautifully landscaped adventure, so there are lots of neat hiding places for eggs. Kids can run through the hedges to find hidden eggs filled with holiday treats. After, they can visit with the famous Easter Bunny! Reservations required.

Easter Egg Hunt and Bonnet Contest
When: April 20
Where: Heaven Hill Farm, 451 State Rte. 94, Vernon
Time: 11 am-4 pm
Cost: Free
Try to find the Golden Egg at one of three egg hunts to score a special prize. Then, go wild on carnival rides, dress your best for the Easter Bonnet Contest, hop a hay or pony ride and munch away on homemade apple cider donuts and other farm faves.

Bunny Chase at Terhune Orchards
When: April 20-21
Where: Terhune Orchards, 330 Cold Soil Rd., Princeton
Time: 10 am-5 pm
Cost: Free-$5
The Bunny Chase is back for another year. Kids ages 2-8 will go on a treasure hunt, following clues to find a big spring surprise. They’ll also make a bunny craft, go on a wagon and pony rides and visit farm animals. Chow down in the Farm Food Tent on rustic sweets and homemade goodies, and even try some of Terhune’s house wine made from farm grapes.

Morey’s Piers Annual Easter Celebration
When: April 21
Where: Mariner’s Pier, 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood
Time: Noon-5 pm
Cost: Free
Spend your Easter Sunday by the beach. The kids can take part in the egg hunt, snap pics with the Big Hopper by the Ferris wheel and explore the boardwalk. Splurge on breakfast with the bunny at Jumbo’s Grub & Pub.

Horseback Easter Egg Hunt
When: All March and April by reservation
Where: Acres Away LLC, 926 County Rd. 579, Flemington
Cost: $20 children/$55 for adult trail ride
Take the kids on a 15-minute, hand-led horseback hunt for eggs hidden throughout the woods. They’ll find toys and sweets inside each egg. Admission also scores them entry to the petting zoo. Want to do a grown-up ride? Hit the trail for an hour to find eggs filled with chocolate and mini bottles of alcohol!
