Is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade part of your family’s annual tradition? Have you ever wanted to see them in person?
Head to the Upper West Side on Thanksgiving Eve for an inside look at how the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons get their shape. The entrance to the Macy’s Parade Balloon Inflation is at 79th Street and Columbus Avenue. You can enter the viewing area at 1 pm, but remember that the balloons won’t begin to take shape until 4:30-5 pm. Last admission into the balloon area is 8 pm. After getting a sneak peak, tune in Thanksgiving morning at 9 am with your family to view the parade—this year is the 93st annual celebration.
