We’re psyched about the massive SEA LIFE Aquarium coming to American Dream this spring since the East Rutherford attraction will house more than 3,000 sea creatures in 25,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and city-themed displays. If your aspiring marine biologists are eager to see what’s there, they just might be the right fit for the Junior Ranger program.
Through February 5, science lovers and environmentalists ages 7-12 can apply to be part of a group of kids who’ll work with SEA LIFE’s curator and team of experts. They’ll get to participate in in-house events and activities at the aquarium, plus off-site activities that benefit local conservation efforts. The program will last from March 2020 to March 2021. Then, they’ll get to help choose the next class of rangers.
Applicants can enter by recording a video (30 seconds to 1 minute long) explaining what they love most about planet Earth on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #sealifenjrangers. Eight to a dozen winners will be announced on February 10. Best part? Winners score unlimited entry to SEA LIFE and exclusive invitations to events throughout 2020.
Tickets are on sale now ($21/day pass, $47/SEA LIFE and LEGOLAND day pass, $69.95/annual pass). Stay tuned for updates on the aquarium’s opening here.
