If so, enter family magazine's Cover Kid Search. Just submit a photo of your child along with the $35 entry fee. Our Cover Kid Search is open to all New Jersey children ages 6 months through 12 years. Please make checks payable to family magazine.

What type of photo should I submit?
A 4" x 6" or 5" x 7” photo shows off your child best. A photo showing a close-up of a smiling face is better than a picture that is taken at a distance. It’s okay to have a full body shot as long as your child’s face clearly shows. Photos do not need to be professionally taken. No family photos or photos with friends or siblings will be considered. This is not a beauty contest: we are looking for the “kid next door”—no makeup please.
How do I submit my entry form and photo?
We have two ways for you to enter:
1. Download the Cover Kid Entry Form here and mail it to our office with your $35 and your child's photo. Mail your completed entry form, photo, and fee to:

2. Submit your child's photo through our website by clicking on “Enter Now” at the bottom of this page. You can upload the photo, fill in the entry form, and then follow up by mailing us your entry fee. You may also phone Mary in our office with your credit card information (908-232-2913 x106). Only payment (not entry forms) will be accepted on the phone.
Do I need to include any information about my child on the actual photo?
Yes, please write your child’s first and last name, and your phone number, on the back of a mailed-in photo. We will add that information to photos submitted electronically.
What if I want to enter more than one child?
You must submit a separate entry form and pay a separate entry fee for each child.
How much does it cost to enter?
It costs $35 per child to enter. Entries will not be processed until payment is received.
Will photos be returned?
No, photos will not be returned.
Who picks the winner?
Representatives from FORD MODELS will do the final judging. Kids who are entered must be available for a photo shoot at a later date, if selected. (The winner is not guaranteed a modeling contract with Ford Models.)
Where and when will the Grand Prize Winner be announced?
The Grand Prize Winner will be announced in family magazine as soon as the judges complete the judging process. The winner's photo will appear on a future cover of family magazine.
What is the deadline for entering?
Entries must be postmarked or submitted online by Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
Will I receive a confirmation of my entry?
No, but you will receive free tickets to a New Jersey-area event and a 5" x 7" keepsake cover with the family magazine logo.
Is this the only way I can get my child on the cover of family magazine?
Yes.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a New Jersey charity.
