We All Scream for (Free) Rita’s and Dairy Queen!

Stay Cool on the First Day of Spring with Free Cones and Italian Ice

March 20th marks the first day of spring. Sure the weather isn’t exactly springy, but who are we to turn down free ice cream?

Dairy Queen’s Free Cone Day gives you and the kids a chance to enjoy a free small vanilla soft-serve cone. Each store is also accepting donations for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (more than 200K was raised last year!). They’ll be slinging free cones at DQ all day long, so take a trip to one near you.

If Italian ice is more your thing, head to your local Rita’s for a free ice. Last year, the company gave away more than 1 million cups in a single nine-hour day! Try some unique flavors like cotton candy, guava, Swedish Fish or strawberry lemonade. Make your way to Rita’s between noon and 9 pm for this summer fave.
