Trunk or Treat Events in NJ

Ditch the doorbells this Halloween and take your kids to a trunk or treat event in New Jersey

Have you been to a Trunk or Treat? These fun and safe Halloween events have kids trick-or-treat from car to car instead of house-to-house. Some even have activities, refreshments, best costume and best trunk contests, parades and more! Click the links for detailed information such as candy and age restrictions.

Here's where to Trunk-or-Treat in New Jersey:

Friday, October 26

Clementon: Located at Veteran’s Park, Trunk or Treat from 7 to 9 pm. Hayrides, hot chocolate and music.

Mantua: Hosted at the Church of the Incarnation from 5-8:30 pm. Food, prizes and music.

Saturday, October 27

Bernardsville: Located at Bernardsville Library Parking lot. Noon-4 pm.

Boonton: Located at Boonton High School. 5:30-7:30pm. Costume contest, parade, hot dogs, music and more.

Dover: Parade and costume contest. 1-4pm. Dover residents only.

Mt. Laurel: Think candy, games and entertainment from 3-6 pm. Rain or shine.

Oxford: Stop by Oxford Furnace Lake to collect candy and participate for a prize. 5-8pm.

Perth Amboy: Located at Rudyk Park. 3-9pm. Enter a costume contest and raffle.

Summit: Located at Summit YMCA. 7-9 pm. Prizes will be awarded for funniest, scariest and most creative cars.

Surf City: Hosted by the Surf City Police Department. 6-8pm. There will be snacks, balloon twisters, music and more.

Voorhees: Hosted by the Animal Welfare Association, 1-3 pm. Treats for dogs, candy for kids, costume contest, games, pumpkin patch and more.

Sunday, October 28

Bridgewater: At the Bridgewater United Methodist Church parking lot from 3 to 5 pm. Enjoy candy, snacks and drinks.

Burlington: An Autism Friendly event hosted by Peak Center for Autism. 11am-1pm. Pick a pumpkin, grab some shaved ice and trunk hop.

Doylestown, PA: Hit the Market at DelVal from 2-4 pm for decorated trunks and the chance to collect tons of candy.

Levittown, PA: Food Truck Fest and Trunk or Treat at Historic Bolt Mansion. 11am-6pm. There will be moon bounces, face painting, balloon art, kid-friendly ghost tours of the mansion and more.

Ridgewood: Head in costume to the Little Theatre at Ridgewood High School for Halloween tales and treats, then hit the parking lot for some trunk-or-treating.

Sparta: Located at the Sparta Evangelical Free Church from 3-4 pm.

West Windsor: Hosted at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake. 10 am-1 pm. Pumpkin painting, activities, DJ, free brunch and more.

Tuesday, October 30

Glassboro: Hosted by Matt Blatt Mitsubishi in Glassboro. 4-7:30 pm. Costume contest for ages 14 and under.

Toms River: Hosted by Matt Blatt Kia of Toms River. 4-8 pm. Costume contest for ages 14 and under.

Wednesday, October 31

Hoboken: At Lightbridge Academy of Hoboken-Marshall at 4 pm. Parade around in costume and then hop from trunk-to-trunk.

Manahawkin: Fill your bags at Main Street Alliance Church from 5-8 pm. Free refreshments and entertainment. Rain or shine.

Piscataway: At Living Hope Outreach Center at 6:30 pm. 



Friday, October 12

Flemington: Collect candy, grab some popcorn and stick around for an outdoor Halloween movie for the whole family. 6-9:30pm.

Wednesday, October 17

Turnersville: Held at Moozie’s Play Café, 6:30-8:30pm. Open play session, crafts and snacks

Saturday, October 20

Aberdeen: Hosted by Aberdeen PBA Local 163. From 3-7 pm. Rain date is October 27.

Cinnaminson: Held at Cinnaminson High School from 6 to 8 pm. Photo area, prizes, food and live DJ. $5 for residents only.

Sunday, October 21

Clinton: At the Red Mill Museum Village from 1-3 pm. Trunk-or-treat at the Haunted Village, decorate your car and check out the grounds.
