Trunk or Treat Events in NJ

Ditch the doorbells this Halloween and take your kids to a trunk or treat event in New Jersey

Have you been to a Trunk or Treat? These fun and safe Halloween events have kids trick-or-treat from car to car instead of house-to-house. Some even have activities, refreshments, best costume and best trunk contests, parades and more! Click the links for detailed information such as candy and age restrictions.

Here's where to Trunk-or-Treat in New Jersey:

Friday, October 13

Somers Point: At City Hall from 5:30-7:30 pm. Come for candy, games and more.

Friday, October 20

Brick: Held at Drum Point Sports Complex at 6:30 pm. There will be trunk or treating, hayrides, costume parade and trunk contest.

Saturday, October 21

Cinnaminson: Held at Cinnaminson High School from 6 to 8 pm. Photo area, prizes, food and live DJ. $5 for residents only.

Wyckoff: At Abundant Life Reformed Church from 1-4 pm. Donuts, trick or treating, canned good collection and pumpkin patch.

Monday, October 23

Westville: Held at Deptford Skating Center from 5:30-7 pm. Skate for free until 8.

Wednesday, October 25

Sewell: Held at the Gloucester County Community Church at 7 pm. Themed car decorations, as well as prizes for costumes.

Thursday, October 26

Montvale: Held at The Learning Experience. Kids can get goodies from trunks and participate in Halloween activities.

Friday, October 27

Clementon: Located at Veteran’s Park, Trunk or Treat from 7 to 9 pm. Hayrides, hot chocolate and music.

Madison: Held at the Hartley Dodge Memorial Bldg for $10/car. Enjoy illuminated pumpkins while trick-or-treating.

Mantua: Hosted at the Church of the Incarnation from 6-8:30 pm. Food, prizes and music.

Newton: At Kittatinny Regional High School from 6-8 pm. Warm up with cocoa, coffee and treats under the solar canopies.

Saturday, October 28

Aberdeen: At 325 State Rte. 35 from 4-8 pm. Enjoy pumpkin painting, a DJ, costume and trunk contests, food trucks and more.

Forked River: Hosted at Gille Park from 1 to 4 pm. Trunk or treating, face painting and more.

Manahawkin: Fill your bags at Main Street Alliance Church from 3-6 pm. Refreshments inside.

Millstone: At Camp Topanemus YMCA from 1 to 4 pm. Inflatables, Halloween bingo, treats and more. 

Oakland: Join the NJ Sports House in Oakland from 10:30 am-noon for a day of trunk-or-treating, prizes, music, crafts, games, food and more.

Rahway: Downtown from 4:30-8 pm. The trunk or treat starts at 5:30 pm after the parade. Don't miss the fireworks.

Sparta: At the Sparta Evangelical Free Church from 3-4:30 pm. Free admission and refreshments.

Summit: From 7-9 pm at the YMCA. Ghost stories, activities and candy. Awards for funniest, scariest and most creative trunks. 

Voorhees: Hosted by the Animal Welfare Association, 1-3 pm. Treats for dogs, candy for kids, costume contest, games, pumpkin patch and more.

Whippany: At Cheer Pride from 1-2:30 pm. Prizes, games and candy. Best trunk wins a free party for you and 15 friends at Destination Jump.

Wyckoff: At Abma's Farm from 9 am-noon. Stay later for hayrides and pumpkin picking. 

Sunday, October 29

Bridgewater: At the Bridgewater United Methodist Church parking lot from 3 to 5 pm. Enjoy candy, snacks and drinks.

Cape May Court House: At the Lighthouse Church from 4-6 pm. Come for candy, carnival games, inflatables and free food.

Mahwah: Taking place in the front parking lot of the Mahwah Municipal Building at 3 pm. Be sure to catch the parade.

West Windsor: Hosted at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake. 10 am-1 pm. Pumpkin painting, activities, DJ, free brunch and more.

Wildwood Crest: Hosting at the Crest Pier Rec Center at 6 pm. Awards for best decorated vehicles.

Tuesday, October 31

Plainfield: At the City Hall parking lot starting at 6 pm. Kids 12 and under.

Galloway: At Assumption Regional Catholic School from noon-2:30 pm. Dress up for the parade!
