Festival season is well underway. Make it to a 4-H fair with the little ones this weekend, or chill at an outdoor movie, play or farm event instead. No matter what you do, do it with the family.

50 Summers of Love

This concert will take you back to the good days of peace and good vibes. Micky Dolenz and Mark Lindsay will perform with The Fab Four for a night you won’t forget at MPAC in Morristown.

Thursday nights are full of fun in North Wildwood. Your family can enjoy the entertainment district, taste food from food trucks and enjoy meals and beverages from local restaurants and bars.

Harlem Wizards: Trick Hoops and Alley-Oops

Gloucester County 4-H Fair

This 70-year-old festival has attracted thousands to South Jersey's Mullica Hill. Head down to be a part of the fun and enjoy food, fun crafts and an array of different animals. There will be horses, dogs, goats and hogs for the family to pet.

Peterstown Cultural Festival

This Italian American cultural festival in Elizabeth will allow you to enjoy different food vendors and entertainment. Enter the 50/50 raffle to win big and enjoy as much beer and sangria as you want.

Monmouth County Fair

The family can enjoy this five-day festival in Freehold full of games, rides and live entertainment. Go on opening night to see a special fireworks display.

Family Astronomy Night

Bring your mini astronauts and star gazers to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York to learn about the space shuttle Enterprise and view the stars from the flight deck.

Fright Light Family Version

For less than $10, you can enjoy a light show in Branchburg that will have you ready for Halloween. The laser concert will feature Halloween songs like Thriller, Ghostbusters and Alive.

35th Annual QuickChek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning

99th annual Mercer County 4-H Fair

This Lambertville fair includes animals, food and even homemade ice cream. You can enjoy everything from hay and pony rides to milking demonstrations and crafts.

Make your way to Rutgers in New Brunswick is sure to mellow you out all summer long. Carve out some me time by practicing yoga in a gorgeous outdoor setting. Take advantage of morning treats and beverages, too. Bring a friend and mat. 

80th Annual Warren County Farmers’ Fair and Balloon Fest

Watch the beautiful hot air balloons float by, or purchase a ticket and fly among the clouds yourself. This event is running from July 29-August 5.

6th Annual “Eat Drink Local Week”

Celebrate the culinary skills and produce of the Garden State through July 30. Head to several restaurants serving food made with fresh produce. It’s healthy and will be delicious.

Friday Night Unwined

Every Friday evening, Shady Brook Farm in PA is buzzing with live music from local bands, wine, beer and fun for the kids. While the adults enjoy wine and eat, the kids can play in go carts and play on the playground. 

Kinnelon Cinemas Free Kids Movies
