Beauty Tips for Essential Oils

Your senses will tingle at this Warren County Library event where you can learn about oils and make your very own two-ounce lavender and frankincense toner. Ages 16 and up.

August 3-4

Harry Potter Science

Your child will be fascinated by the magic and wonder at this camp. They’ll find their place as a wizard or witch just like Harry Potter and his friends, while also learning valuable science lessons.

80th Warren County Farmers’ Fair and Balloon Fest

Watch the sky turn into a sea of colorful balloons at this festival. Bring a lawn chair and watch them fly, or buy a ticket and catch a ride. Don't miss performances by artists such as Laurie Berkner and Pat Benatar.

51st Annual Keyport Fireman’s Fair

This Keyport fave provides you with food, rides, games, face painting, characters, raffles and live music. Be there closing night to see the fireworks.

Space & Science Festival

Travel to New York City to hear speakers from NASA, meet some real life astronauts and learn about new technology used in the sky and beyond.

23rd Annual Clam Festival

This Highlands event is a seafood lover's paradise. Take the family to get their four-day fill of fresh seafood, live music, games and contests. There'll even be a beer and wine garden for adults.

Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust: A Collection of Disney Songs

Disney lovers and music fans alike will cherish this event. Listen to a medley of hits from beloved films that you can sing along to to with the crew at the Summit Playhouse.

Cookin’ With Peaches

Life can be pretty sweet, especially when peaches are involved. Come to this Lebanon workshop at Valley Crest Farm and Preserve where you can learn fun new recipes.

Family Astronomy Night

At this special Intrepid event, your family can meet a researcher studying drones and then view stars on the flight deck.

Boonton First Friday Motorcycle Night

Motorcycle lovers and hog riders unite! Head downtown where all the shops will be open late for food, art, shopping and bikers.

Annual Peach & Ice Cream Social

Peaches are the main dish at this event in Bordentown. You can have as much peach cobbler, peach sundaes and peach pie as you desire.

Fringe Festival

This three-day festival at Eagle Theatre in Hammonton is one that musical theater lovers will enjoy. It features different theatrical productions at various locations throughout the festival. In between, enjoy a beer and wine garden, food and vendors.

22nd Annual Gem, Mineral and Fossil Sale

If you’re into minerals, gems and cool fossils, head to the Morris Museum to get some unique pieces for your collections.

Rockaway Food Truck Festival

If you’re into food, wine or a little bit of both, head to this festival featuring over 20 food trucks and a wine bar. If that’s not enough to sell you, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity.

Movies in the Park

This weekend your family gets to see the magic and wonder of Moana at Highlands Preserve in West Milford. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the film and free refreshments.

Shoprite Third Annual 5K Run and Walk for Veterans

If you want to get some exercise and raise money for a good cause, this Clark event will be perfect for you and the family. All proceeds will be donated to organizations that support veterans.

Lunch with Elsa

This indoor playground in Kenilworth just a got a little more fun. Your child can have lunch with their favorite Frozen character, Elsa. Then, they can munch on pizza and cake.


If your little one loves trucks, head to this event in Marlton. The family will be able to check out over 40 different trucks and the Kidz Zone will feature face painting, a bouncy house, pony rides and carnival games.

Peach Festival and Country Auction

It’s peach season, and with that comes this festival that lets you sample cobblers, homemade ice cream and other treats. This event in Chester will leave you feeling peachy as you shop gently used toys and books.

Fine Arts and Peach Festival

Get a taste of this summer’s sweet, juicy treat while observing fine art at Riverview Estates in Riverton.

Have a taste for farm fresh food? Grab some at this weekend event at Urban Farm in Morristown. You can also enjoy live music, relay games and a little arts and crafts.

Third Annual Princess Ball

Your little princess will have the time of her life in Wayne. Whether she feels like she’s "Under the Sea" or taken to "A Whole New World," she'll enjoy the princesses, makeovers, toy hunts, shopping and tricky tray.

Kid’s Day

When is it not Kid's Day, right? Head to the Red Mill Museum Village in Clinton for a special celebration just for little ones. From live music, crafts and a bouncy house, to ice cream making and reptiles, your child will have a blast.


Mythbusters: The Explosive Exhibition

Your family can bust some myths at the Liberty Science Center in Jersey City through September 4. Get a premium pass to enjoy this exhibit that'll have your family enjoying live demos, fan participation and amazing visuals.

Friday Night Unwind

After a long week of work and the grind, head to Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, PA on Fridays through September 1 to relax. There will be wine, beer and lounge time for the adults, while the kids enjoy the playground and go-carts. Mellow out to live music and good weather.

Endangered! A Super Stormy Musical

Peach Harvest Festival

Alstede's in Chester will leave you feeling peachy, literally. Enjoy everything from peach ice cream, cake and pie from now through August 13. You’ll also be able to enjoy a hayride to the peach orchard where you can pick your own.

The Wedding Singer

Head to the Strand Center for the Arts in Lakewood through August 12 to learn the story of Robbie and Julia, who fall madly in love. This musical will take you back in time as you revisit the hottest songs of the 1980’s.

Sussex County Farm and Horse Show

This is not your typical festival. This 10-day event in Augusta from August 4-13 features a horse show, vendors, a petting zoo, crafts, flower shows, photography exhibits and more. To make it even more exciting, you’ll be able to see a chainsaw artist at work!
