Prepare to blow your mini football fans’ minds: The New York Giants and Jets Training Camps are about to get underway and you can bring the kids to watch! Both football teams offer free practices for the public—which include activities and autographs for kids. Training camp is a chance for your family to meet NFL players, win cool prizes and play awesome games.

GIANTS TRAINING CAMP

The New York Giants will hold 11 practice sessions at Quest Diagnostics Training Center in East Rutherford this summer. Practices will be held for approximately two weeks, beginning on Friday, July 28 at 11:40 am and ending on Monday, August 14 at 10:55 am.

There is no admission or parking charge, and covered seating is provided to fans in the form of sideline bleachers. (Seating is limited!) Restrooms and concessions stands are nearby, as well as the Big Blue Kids’ Zone, which features games, face painting and inflatables for pint-sized fans. The first 200 kids to visit the Kids’ Zone will receive a special prize.

After each practice, a rotating group of Giants players will sign autographs for the first 400 fans (12 years and younger) who have signed up and received a wristband. Parents must sign their child up upon arrival. In addition, a select group of Giants legends will sign autographs during practice for fans of all ages. For more information and a schedule of practices go to giants.com.

JETS TRAINING CAMP

The New York Jets will hold 8 practice sessions at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park on Mondays and Thursdays from July 31 - August 24. Admission and parking are free, but tickets are required. The gates will open at 1 pm and practice will begin at 1:50 pm. Parents and kids can check out the family-friendly Jets Fest which features inflatables, obstacle courses, rides and other activities (and food is available for purchase).

The Jets also hold The Green & White Practice/Scrimmage at MetLife Stadium, which will be on Saturday, August 5 this year. The entire family can check out the 2017 Jets lineup, and don’t forget to bring your favorite memorabilia! Jets legends will be in attendance to sign your kids’ footballs and other merchandise. The doors to MetLlife Stadium will open at 5:30 pm and the scrimmage will begin at 7 pm. Tickets are required. For more information on the event and practice schedules, check out newyorkjets.com.
