Whether your kid gets gutter balls or turkeys, bowling is a fun way to spend an afternoon. There are plenty of lanes located around the state, both corporate and independently owned. Roll over to one near you with the kids for a few frames of fun.

Oh, and pro-tip: there are plenty of ways to score discounted (or free!) bowling over the summer. Take Bowlero: the company is offering Summer Games Passes at multiple North Jersey Centers through August 22. Kids 15 and younger ($9.95-43.95/pass) and bowlers 16 and up ($27.95-58.95/pass) can hone their skills in up to three games a day through September 3.
