FeedIt's Pick-Your-Own Strawberry Time in New Jersey!

Strawberry picking season is here! And in New Jersey the pick-your-own strawberry season is short and sweet, lasting about three weeks from mid-May to early June.
Many pick-your-own farms in New Jersey are open now, but some won't open for another week or so. Please call before you go for updates on crop and weather conditions, fees, picking times, and to make sure the farm isn't "picked-out" and closing early as a result.
Pick-Your-Own Strawberries in NJ
Alstede Farms
84 Route 513 (Old Route 24), Chester, NJ; 908-879-7189
9 am–9 pm daily, open for picking Memorial Day weekend through mid-June. $5 admission per person (children under 2 are free), full picking details on Alstede Farm's website.
Battleview Orchards
91 Wemrock Rd., Freehold, NJ; 732-462-0756
9 am-3 pm daily, open for picking approx. May 16 through June 9. Check in at the Country Store before heading out to the fields, $1 Membership Card required per family or group. No pets allowed; cash only.
Donaldson’s Farm
358 Allen Rd., Hackettstown, NJ; 908-852-9122
9 am-6 pm daily, opening day in late May through June. Also offers group tours and picking parties.
Giamarese Farm

10 am-6 pm Tues.-Sun. Open for picking Memorial Day to Father's Day weekend, $6/adult includes wagon ride and first quart of strawberries.
Horse Sleigh Farm

Strawberry festival open 10 am-7 pm Sat. and Sun. from June 8 - June 30. Plus, check out their horse drawn wagon rides, hay rides, pony rides, bounce house, and animal petting.
Stults Farm

Sunhaven Farms

Sussex County Strawberry Farm
