Fairy Festivals in NJ this Weekend



fairy girls3rd Annual Fairy Festival - On Saturday, July 21, 2012, The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed (31 Titus Mill Road, Pennington) is hosting its 3rd Annual Fairy Festival from 10:30am to 1pm. Join in the fun and celebrate Rainbow and Woodland Fairies, as well as Forest Elves. There will be dancing around a maypole, magical crafts and the chance to construct villages along the Fairy Trail. You can also play in the stream with the Water Sprites. Fairy finery encouraged. $5/person or $15/family, all ages. Registration suggested. To learn more visit WaterShed.org.

6th Annual Fairy Day - On Sunday, July 22, 2012, The Frelinghuysen Arboretum (353 East Hanover Ave., Morristown) is holding its 6th Annual Fairy Day starting at 1pm. Natural materials like moss, bark and leaves as well as instructions will be provided so visitors can create their own fairy houses to attract fairies to the arboretum's gardens. There will also be live music and fairy treats. Rain date is July 29. $25/member families and $30/non-member families. Registration required. To learn more visit ArboretumFriends.org.
