Dr. Seuss’ Birthday Breakfast

Liberty Hall Museum

Celebrate his favorite author at a birthday bash where kids nosh on treats at a breakfast snack bar, go fishing for one fish, two fish, red fish and blue fish and take pictures with silly props and the Cat in the Hat. Stick around for a Seussical the Musical sing-along. $25 per child. Reservations required.

Visit the zainy, entertaining world of Dr. Seuss (and maybe celebrate his birthday) at this "lively" performance. For more info call 973-285-6980.

Bring the kids (ages 18 months to 5 years) to sing silly songs, read stories and do a craft. Registration required.

Join the library for a party celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America. There'll be stories, crafts and games. All ages welcome.

Kids can come dressed as their fave Seuss character and listen to his stories throughout the day. They can make a hat just like the Cat and try their hands at a Seuss-inspired science demo in the BASF's Kids' Lab.
