New Jersey Osteopathic Medicine

Mark Morris, DO, FACOP

Specialty: Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine, Pediatrics

Specializing in osteopathic manipulative medicine, Dr. Mark Morris takes the time to explore each patient’s history and perform a thorough exam, while engaging and creating an atmosphere of respect for the child.

“This is not just ordinary medicine,” says the father of two teenagers. “I meet kids on their level and work with them and their families for enduring improvement.”

Dr. Morris specializes in treating patients who haven’t been helped by other medical approaches, including infants, children and teens struggling with colic, learning disabilities, and physical, emotional or social issues.

A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians, Dr. Morris is the only traditional osteopath in New Jersey who is also board certified in pediatrics.

Dr. Morris received his DO from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed both an internship in general medicine and a residency in pediatrics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

What Parents Say:

“Dr. Mark Morris is unlike any other doctor. He is a genius diagnostician (and healer!). He sees and understands the human body more than any other doctor we've consulted. Issues that go unnoticed by, or seem complicated to, other health care practitioners, are diagnosed and solved by Dr. Morris with ease. I've never been so impressed by a doctor before and we have been to many of them in NYC and NJ.” -Michelle, Short Hills

“Dr. Morris is rare in that he truly understands how a child develops and what the root cause of the issue/ailment is. What is amazing is that he is able to diagnose and treat physical/body issues that other doctors do not. He has reversed my son's scoliosis and treated his torticollis with physical manipulation alone. Other doctors said my son would be in a brace and need spinal surgery. Because of Dr. Morris's treatment and care he has needed neither. His scoliosis is gone and torticollis has been reduced tremendously. He is wonderful with parents in that he explains everything to you and educates you so you can help your child. He is also wonderful and caring with children. Also, I have never seen a doctor give an in-depth physical exam like Dr. Morris. He takes his time so that he can truly see everything that is going on with the child. He really is one of a kind!”  -RoseMaria, Califon

“Dr. Morris spends plenty of time explaining the situation and his treatment. He is very patient. He pays attention to every single issue, whether big or small and offers the best options for resolution. He is a lot of fun for the kids.” -Buvana, Scotch Plains

“It’s extremely hard to find an osteopath and it's incredible how  Dr. Morris has been able to change both my and my son's structural issues - he's incredible.” - Rebecca, South Orange
