Take The Plunge at Indoor Water Parks and Pools

Winter is the perfect time to plan an extra-fun family outing. Take a trip to an inside water park or indoor pool! Here are lots of places to slide and swim - all while still staying warm and cozy indoors.
Indoor Water Parks
Located in Mt. Laurel, NJ you can visit the water park for the day ($19.99-$32.99) or choose from one of the overnight packages, which are generally priced from $229-$299. The water park has a great area for toddlers, as well as water slides for older kids and a lazy river that is perfect for all ages.
Visit Hamburg, NJ to experience their Biosphere Pool Complex, an indoor tropical pool paradise that looks pretty spectacular. Features include a large water slide and a grotto-themed jacuzzi. Hotel stay is required, and packages available include the Ski and Stay, which features nearby skiing at Mountain Creek.
This colossal indoor water park in Scotrun, PA is part of the Great Wolf Lodge, and you need to stay there to use the water park. Rooms range from $280 during the week all the way up to $650+ for a Saturday night stay in the top-of-the-line Majestic Bear suite. While this may seem pricey, when compared to the prices of the day tickets to a lot of the other indoor water parks, it actually comes out to being not much more—and you get a night away. In addition to the water park that has a wave pool, multiple water slides, and a toddler area, there are also lots of other activities and an arcade.

Located in Lake Harmony, PA this resort features the H2Oooohh! Indoor Water park. There are water play options for all ages, including an indoor Flow Rider, slides that drop four stories, hot tubs, and a play area for little ones. Online tickets for the water park range from $14.91 to $30.89; children under 2 are free. The water park is open to the public; overnight accommodations are not required. And, be sure to bring a towel.
