Newmark Schools (K-12) provides a highly specialized program for children living with disabilities. Newmark’s strength is in educating some of New Jersey’s most vulnerable students on the skills they need to live healthy, happy, and productive lives.
Newmark School and Newmark High School are state-approved, private schools for children living with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders from school districts throughout New Jersey. We specialize in educating children living with autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, anxiety, Asperger's Syndrome, bipolar, PDD-NOS, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and sensory integration disorder.
Over the past twelve years, the Newmark Schools have developed a strong teaching model that is now being used to educate other teaching professionals who work with children living with disabilities. The Newmark education model is based on a collection of systematic teaching approaches that compels teachers to be consistent with reinforcing positive behaviors, delineates instructions based on need and incorporates an immersion of social thinking lessons. Each student receives an individually tailored academic plan with appropriate educational material and learning tools for their level, delivered by highly trained staff members.
