The Family Center, located at 111 Kings Road, in Madison, offers fitness and enrichment programs for all ages in our facility that features a fitness center, pool, saunas, whirlpool, locker rooms, a teen center, indoor children's playground and classrooms. The Early Childhood Education Center of the Madison Area YMCA, located at the FM Kirby Campus at 54 East Street, is a full service early childhood education center, serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old in a safe and caring environment. The Early Childhood Education Center provides quality care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age youngsters. Language and social development are integral to the caring, nurturing programs. Each infant and toddler is assigned to a regular teacher who becomes the child’s primary caregiver. The teacher provides one-on-one interaction and monitors the child’s social, physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Daily verbal communication and a tracking sheet that includes information about meals, moods, diapering, toilet training, activities, and milestones are provided. Childcare is available 2, 3, or 5 days a week from 7 am until 6 pm with an extended care option until 6:45 pm. Breakfast, hot lunch, snack, and formula are included in tuition. Summer camps are available for all ages. Little Bit of Wantago is for children 3 years old through 5 years old (entering kindergarten), with 9 weekly sessions Camp Wantago for children entering K-3rd grade offers 10 weekly sessions
KidsQuest for children entering, grades 3 – 5 is a brand new Quest this summer! Choose from five different specialty themed weeks or participate in them all! Each week will combine our theme program with camp favorites like arts & crafts, sports and swimming. Weekly field trips will reflect the week’s focus. Campers will choose elective activities for flexibility in creating a camp experience that goes beyond expectations.
SummerQuest, for teens entering grades 6 – 10 is a daily travel camp with once/week sleepovers.
One and two-week gymnastics, dance and sport-specific clinics are also offered for preschool and school aged children.
