At Bulan Plastic Surgery, some of the doctor’s favorite patients come walking in the door in pairs: hand-in-hand, parent and child, reconstructive and cosmetic. Dr. Erwin Bulan enjoys developing safe and creative solutions for all his patients, from infants on up. His offices in Millburn and Randolph are relaxed, stress-free environments designed to keep patients at ease.

I approach them as I would my own kids, and aim to create a positive experience for all my patients. It’s truly humbling when a parent, especially one who has been my patient, trusts me to work with their child.”
Though Dr. Bulan offers cosmetic services, from abdominoplasty and liposuction to a full range of breast, face, neck, eyelid, and nasal procedures, he is also known for his treatment of injuries and deformities in children.
“In plastic surgery, every patient is unique, and every problem has a creative solution. It never gets boring. I really wanted to pursue a medical field that allowed me to use my hands and create a direct impact on my patients’ lives,” he says.
Dr. Bulan earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Cornell University, and his MD degree from SUNY in Syracuse. He completed a six-year residency in integrated plastic surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center.
He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as a Diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgery.
