Brett Handsman, DMD & Lee Kaswiner, DDS
At Springfield Orthodontics, Drs. Lee Kaswiner and Brett Handsman provide a positive orthodontic experience in a warm and friendly, professional atmosphere for children, adolescents, and adults.
The practice features the latest orthodontic technology, including digital x-rays. Patients are kept at ease with the help of a new Xbox video game area and Virtual Vision glasses that allow patients to watch a movie while receiving orthodontic treatment.
Affectionately known as “Dr. Lee” and “Dr. Brett,” the orthodontists are passionate about giving back to the community through clothing and toy drives, school events, donations, and other activities.
Dr. Lee received his dental and orthodontic training at New York University, and has served as chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center since 1985.
“We’re dedicated to hands-on orthodontics,” says Dr. Lee. The third-generation dentist and father of four is a Premier Provider of Invisalign, and has completed hundreds of Invisalign treatments—including his own.
“I’ve been practicing for more than 30 years, and I’m still having fun,” he says. “We love what we do, and it shows.”
Dr. Brett joined the state-of-the-art practice in 2007 and enjoys building relationships with patients while providing the highest level of care.
“My biggest thrill is when a patient has their braces removed and can’t stop smiling because they’re so happy,” says the father of two. Dr. Brett is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and completed his orthodontic specialty at Stony Brook University.
Springfield Orthodontics offers weekend and evening hours and flexible payment options for families. The practice accepts many insurance plans, and the superb office staff coordinates insurance paperwork for patients.
