Third Annual Mike Nichols Charity Hockey Game

Apr 21, 2017
07:30 PM until 10:30 PM

The Third Annual Mike Nichols Charity Hockey Game, hosted by WFAN/Boomer & Carton, will take place at 7:30 p.m. on April 21 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ – doors open at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Nichols Family Trust and the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injuries by funding research and improving the quality of life for people living with paralysis. In 2014, Mike Nichols sustained a spinal cord injury during a varsity hockey game after being checked from behind. Following the accident, he received incredible support from his community, which fueled his need to raise awareness and funds for spinal cord injury research. Former NHL players participating in the game include Devils great Ken Daneyko, ex-Rangers Tom Laidlaw, Tie Domi and Brad Richards, former Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro and “The MSG Hockey Show” host Will Reeve (son of Christopher Reeve).
