The annual Stirling Street Fair, sponsored by the Long Hill Chamber of Commerce, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Avenue, Stirling.
There is no rain date.
Among the highlights will be ethnic foods, music, arts and crafts, antiques, pumpkin painting, rides for children, games and a petting zoo. Local organizations, including the Long Hill Seniors, will also have tables to pass out literature and to meet and greet residents who want to get more information about the programs and services offered.
The Long Hill emergency services, including the Stirling and Millington Volunteer Fire Companies, the Long Hill First Aid Squad, the Police Department, and CERT (Civilian Emergency Response Team), will be represented.
CERT volunteers and members of the Long Hill Police Explorers will help with crowd control and traffic safety.
Join us for live music and entertainment along with family fun attractions. Over 125 exhibitors, kiddie rides & climbing wall, kids games, face painters, amusements, temp tattoos, & more. A special section with craft exhibitors & artists. Fabulous festival foods, everything from shishkabobs, kettle corn, pulled pork, sausage sandwiches to ice cream, zeppoles, funnel cakes, and Italian ices. Come eat, shop & play!
The fair will be held on Main Avenue between the Mercer and Somerset Streets. There will be parking at the Train Station lot, and on side streets. Enter from Valley Road on Warren Avenue or Passaic Avenue.
