Calling all fathers, step-fathers, and fathers-to-be! Join the United Way Family Success Center for F.E.L.L.A.S.: Fathers Empowered to Learn, Lead, and Achieve Success. This 12-week workshop series, held in partnership with the Irvington Family Development Center, provides fathers with information and advice on how to be more active role models and remain a positive influence in their children’s lives. Topics covered throughout the series include: •Family of origin •Masculinity •Understanding yourself •Handling and expressing emotions •Spirituality •Physical and mental health •Fathering and family roles •Fathering and culture •Discipline, rewards, and punishment •Expectations and children's development •Balancing work and family •Getting involved with your children Don’t miss this opportunity to be the best father you can be while helping your children grow and thrive!
