Opera MODO presents 'Giulio Cesare in Egitto'

Opera MODO will present George Frideric Handel’s Giulio Cesare in Egitto, an Italian Baroque opera. The themes are the costs of power, the failure to reach cultural understanding between disparate peoples, the futility of war, violence, and shifting borders. It reflects the line dividing justice and revenge, perhaps suggesting a continuum between the two, and the possibility of triumph and pursuing love, against all odds.
Cost suggested donation: $25/adults, $15/students
