Jul 15, 2017
11:00 AM until 02:00 PM

This year Wagner Farm Arboretum’s widely acclaimed Festival of Butterflies has been expanded to include many exciting new attractions and has been renamed “A Festival of Nature.” This wonderful family event boasts a wide array of animal exhibits, outdoor activities, food, games, music, honey extraction, dancers and vendors. It’s a great day out for the whole family. Visitors will be enthralled to hand-feed hundreds of beautiful butterflies in our giant walk-through butterfly pavilion and amazed by our raptor exhibit featuring 15 eagles, falcons, owls and hawks and our falconry free-flight shows. Stop by our giant petting zoo and feed the animals and then head off to Rizzo’s Reptiles’ to see their cool animal demonstrations. Do not miss “Tecomah”, a real-live timber wolf! Children can help build a giant bug hotel, put out fires with the fire truck hose, jump around to their hearts content on our giant inflatables and play lots of fun games. We also have buzzing bees, amazing alpacas, wiggly worms, planting demonstrations, geological exhibits, face painting, fire trucks, 50/50 and much more. Our fun-filled event is a great way to increase your awareness of the natural world. Food is available for purchase at an additional cost. Wrist bands include entry to petting zoo and butterfly exhibit, falcon shows and exhibit, Rizzo’s Retiles, games and inflatable bounce houses. Price $20 per person Date: Saturday July 15 Rain Date: Sunday July 16
